Similar temps as yesterday but windy and it quickly became clear I couldn't handle it with the less-than-ideal wardrobe I had in Ankeny. I may have had a chance to warm up but a mile in I decided I'd better head towards the nearest porta-potty. That unfortunately meant going into the wind with absolutely no windbreaks around (which is likely more probable, as porta-potties tend to be in new construction areas).
My fingers were freezing, I was going super slow, and having no purpose to this run made it easy to stop at 4. At least it was enough to get 50 miles for the week. Not something that's remarkable ideally, but it has been 4 weeks since my last time over 50.
