Notes
In La Crosse before flying out early tomorrow (and a likely day off). Today is my last workout, hopefully an easier one.
Nearly 3 miles warm up then 3 x 1 mile.
1) 5:55 pace. This started as potentially just a warm-up tempo but I was happy with the time and effort. 2min rec.
2) 5:35 pace. The pace came pretty naturally and even included some slower sections. Finished with a bathroom. 2+ min rec.
3) 5:12 pace. I wasn't trying to crush this one, it just didn't feel too bad. The heart rate was rising though.
I started doing another tempo after finishing but quickly decided that was a poor decision as I was degrading. Slow trot back to the finish. I think today reiterates that I am strong and fast but still questionable when I start pushing myself hard.
