Testing out some trails today. There seems to be 2 main options near Columbia: Rock Bridge State Park on the south, and Cosmo MTB on the north. Testing Rock Bridge today. It seems closer to Decorah trails than Cedar Rapids: sometimes rocky, sometimes rooty, longer hills.
My initial plan was reversed as I headed right for a bathroom (which were nice bathrooms). I thought about just continuing along this one until it came to a creek. I don't know what is normal but it seemed like the water was several feet deep. But that also happened to be where the trail from my initial plan met up, so I went with that. I made it back to the car earlier than I thought. I should have continued on but my legs were wiped.
