from Hoyt Rd. to Rt. 9......i ran with Matt Miller. Matt stopped about 33 miles into the run. started north and went south. the first 15 miles or so were nice and runnable, but gradually got rockier. a few short, steep ascents and descents. alot of rolling terrain. rocky sections became tougher throughout the day. i ended up doing 20 + min/miles the last few miles. overall, nothern NY AT not bad. nothing really out of the ordinary in terms of sights....finished at dusk, was almost completely dark... Caryn and Joe Church crewed.
