For me, i never listen to music cause i tell myself i cant listen to it during a race so i shouldnt practice with it

Always music if I'm alone. Outside without music is doable. Treadmill without music is unethical.

I usually watch TV while I run on the treadmill, which is rare. If I'm alone outside, it really depends on the day. I usually try to run without music and just think, but if there's a certain album or artist I really want to listen to, I'll snag some headphones for the run.

I heard somewhere that richard watched food network while doing treadmill long runs and i did that for a workout and it worked well but it had no sound lol

I don't listen to music bc it takes way too much effort. Also @Mikeelie my high school coach said we couldn't listen to music during runs bc we couldn't during a race, but I think its kind of stupid since during a race your not gonna be like "im going to run slower since I'm not listening to music and i usually train with it" you know?

I dont have any proof you would audrey but I had one teammate in high school who would listen to music on road runs and run a faster pace on rosd runs than she would in races sometimes
