I just got back from doing a mile and it was AMAZING! I am so glad I forgot my headphones. I was able to hear my breathing which sounded so much better and my strike. (it was very loud so I was able to concentrate on not pounding so much on the pavement!) I had another mile in me easily. I wasnt quite at recovery pace but I felt great and knew I was on my training pace from before. HR looked great and stayed 140-145 for much of the run. I am icing now and having a protein shake feeling marvelous!!!!!! Heel was a bit sore in beginning but once I warmed up was not bothersome at all. I felt it but nothing more than I ever have. Chiro said this is normal and I can train as long as I have no major sharp pains as long as I do prescribed exercises, icing, ibu. and of course take it easy and build up at a good pace :) YAY!!!!!
