Century ride training continues...Glad to get this long ride done. Mostly flat with a few hills scattered throughout. 2300' of gain. Went from the house - backroads - Bernal - climbed Silver Creek Valley. Silver Creek was not feeling comfortable today. That hill is still tough for me. I wonder if I will ever be good at biking up hills? Was going to do San Felipe and Metcalf but had second thoughts and kept it flatter so I could make sure to complete the mileage. Instead went the opposite way on San Felipe - Yerba Buena - Coyote Creek trail South to Morgan hill. Took a short stop in Morgan hill to eat a cliff bar and refill my water bottle.

Thence, Cochrane to Llagas. Climbed Llagas and followed the reservoirs along Oak Glen - Uvas - McKean - Camden. That part was a bit tough because of the headwind and hills later in the ride.

Fuel was a peppermint candy and a cliff bar. This seemed to be just enough for the effort level and length.
