I had a hard time falling asleep last night and then I woke up at 4:00 and couldn’t fall back asleep, so I got out of bed around 4:35 and headed to work at 4:55. I’ve grown impatient with this cold and have decided to just ignore it from here on out. I started out on my run heading South into Naperville. About 15 minutes in I had to dump. I was heading toward NCC but it couldn’t wait. I was hoping to find a tear-down house with a port-o-potty but I guess the economy has been hurting too much. I had no choice but to find the nearest patch of bushes by someone’s house. Actually, it looked vacant with a For Sale sign. I doubt anyone will ever notice the evidence I left behind.
I still went over to NCC to see if anyone was around and to use the John again just to be sure I got everything.
When I came out of the Field House, I decided to go on to the track to see how well I could see the lanes. I want to do a track workout Thursday morning and wanted to check the visibility. It’s dark but I could see all the lines fine. I did a couple laps with some 200M pickups. I then had an idea…
