I went to the Dr. Sat and he sent me in for a chest x-ray and gave me some cough medicine. I'm still waiting to hear the results but he doubts I could have cracked my rib. More likely is that I've stained the tissue in between my ribs. It's been a very painful weekend. Every time I move wrong, cough, and especially sneeze, it hurts like I'm getting stabbed in the chest.
I woke up early this morning, took 3 Advil and decided I would just suck it up and deal with the pain. The Advil helped, because it didn't hurt as much as when I first woke up. The pain was still there but was tolerable.
What a beautiful Fall morning. I was comfortable running in a short sleeve shirt and no gloves or hat. Ran to Blackwell and around the loop North of Mack Rd. Everything else felt fine. I'm just so frustrated that and ache in my ribs kept me from running this weekend. I would have easily been in the 80s.
