Notes
Very strange night. Didn't go to bed. This run took a lot out of me. Quads were really feeling it. I was lightheaded by the last couple miles and balance was tricky. Being in the dark with the headlight made that more challenging. I wasn't in a good place for a long time after. It felt very similar to the trail marathon, Indy Marathon, and Lake Geneva Euro in 2010. I'm guessing I had hypothermia type symptoms. I was hyperventilating for a good 20 minutes after the run. I didn't even realize I was cold. I wasn't thinking strait and was so dizzy. It finally dawned on me when I got in the shower that my whole body was cold. I took a nice long warm shower and that really helped. I was better after that.
I'll need to take it real easy for the next 4-5 days. I know my legs are trashed. My endurance felt good out there, but the legs had little strength. A little disappointed to see the overall pace be slower than it felt.
