Ran from NCC with Reggie, Greg, Andy, Roland and a couple guys on the team. Greg and Reggie got us started out at a very brisk pace. As we got into SPring Brook, some guys timed miles. The slowest was 6:12 and the others were between 6:02-6:07. At about an hour, the pace settled in just a little. We made our way back to school for 90 minutes and then Greg and I did extended Wacky Wednesday to get 2 hours. My knee was throbbing the whole run and especially the last half hour. I hope I didn't overdue it. My right hamstring was painfully tight at times but not too bad.
Being able to go out with a good group on a long run from NCC is the thing I find most enjoyable about running right now. There is something so satisfying about driving away knowing it was a great 2 hour workout. I hope I can continue to do this for a long time. Stuff like my knee pain worries me.
