Another frustrating "vacation" day. I couldn't go to NCC to run with Henz this morning, so I had to do it by myself later in the day. I started out this run from Vaughn just as it started to snow. I was coming down very strong the whole time. The roads were immediately slippery. My face became very wet and cold from all the snow melting against it and my eyeballs kept getting stabbed by the snowflakes hitting them despite me running with my head down. I would through neighborhoods and eventually made it onto the Gilman trail for a while. By an hour enough accumulated to actually start getting some traction back for some reason. I just wanted it to be over, so I took it in about 5 minutes shorter than I wanted to go today.
