Another good long run out around Tufts. I didn't feel great heading into this and I was glad to have a few less miles on the schedule than last weekend (delaying a 70 mile week I guess). But with that, and another light week intensity-wise came a feeling of responsibility to grind down in the aerobic threshold zone and that's where I spent the most of the last half of this run. It feels natural frankly, and to manage it without fuss in a run with almost 980ft of gain is another good sign. It means I don't need to rush things. After years of running similar mileage (and thus needing to find other ways to drive progress), the hope for the next two months is to experiment with growth in the "obvious" direction.
