Day 73: Two years ago I began doing regular run/walk intervals (before that, I only ran short segments during longer walks). Today I did an easy run... just wasn't feeling it. Decided to do the interval between the bridges (0.17 mile) at a good pick-up pace (not a sprint)... this felt so good that I continued it until I exited the bike trail, running 0.415 mile in 3:05 (7:26/mile pace). Felt pretty good after that! Apparently all I needed was some faster leg movement.
At finish: 144/20.
