Mon - Happy Dec. 1st! I know you are probably sore, but it is highly beneficial that you got in a run yesterday after the race. The soreness will most likely hit your full bore today (the whole DOMS thing is terribly reliable). The run will help you clear your legs of the lactic acid and prevent more debilitating soreness. For today, 3-5 mile, run easy again if you are running. The next couple of days will be easy as well, just to get back into it and get the legs feeling and working like normal again. It's important that you keep the momentum going and not give into the soreness, it's easy to take several days off because your legs feel like poop, but don't give in! Ride the wave of a good performance for as long as you can.
