Wed - Off or work in the day of when needed. Now that it is getting cold, it get's difficult to get out there and get the training in. Some tights, good gloves and technical running clothes will make it so much more enjoyable. You can continue running through the winter, against popular belief. There wasn't a day that I didn't run outside...maybe I was just hardcore....you will be, too! It does get a little choppy with the footing, but pick a good route. I had good luck with Forest Park and the cemetery when it was really bad. They plow the roads, but usually not the sidewalks in Springfield, so it does get a little dangerous with the cars, try to stay on the less traveled roads and in the park.

Also, the indoor activities are important during the winter, the push ups, the sit ups, the leg exercises, get those in to maximize the outdoor training.
