Notes
At the Silver Comet doing 18. Don't know what happened. I had nothing and knew it fairly early on. I had to start taking walk breaks 6 miles from the finish. Radio battery was dead and HRM also quit halfway through.
Yesterday I did a couple of salads and a Soylent with 4 scoops of protein powder. This morning I had my usual coffee and 1/3 cup of oatmeal. Obviously this combination didn't work too well. I kind of think the issue may have been both lack of sufficient sleep and also dehydration. My water was just about done by the time I got to the bike shop on the way back. I added water to my handheld and drank more than I had been drinking. As it turns out I started getting stronger after I started drinking more water and ran the final mile without any walk breaks.
This doesn't make a lot of sense. It may have been slightly cooler than last week's endeavor.
