Notes
At the Silver Comet, supposed to be doing 16 but it was a total disaster. Late night last night at Kurts with Michelle, John, Katie and Sarah doing the annual dinner after the Peachtree Road Race. Way too much wine. When the alarm went off I couldn't figure out what the noise was, then couldn't understand why the alarm was going off on a Monday, then gradually realized that today was Sunday.
Gave up on MP during the second mile and then hooked up with another runner and chatted a bit while maintaining something like an 11:00 pace. He bailed out at the bike shop and I continued on another 1.25 miles, but had GI issues and had to turn around to go back to the bike shop to use the facilities. I just did a very slow jog heading back.
Came upon a girl who acted as my rabbit for the last couple of miles, so I picked u the pace to stay with her. Should have been targeting a 10:32 for MP.
I'll have to redeem myself this week.
