Notes

My tummy started hurting during the warmup so I knew it was gonna be a rough one today. Luckily, it always kind of hurts so it didn’t impact my workout too terribly #hotgirlshaveIBS. I wanted to avoid the heat that killed me on Monday, but unfortunately I didn’t get car access until around 11:30 so that made it pretty hard to avoid that issue. In hindsight, I should’ve just shaken out on the treadmill this morning and done the workout later in the evening. However, I think it’s smart to train in the heat sometimes because then it prepares me for undesirable conditions come race day. Anyway, stayed pretty consistent throughout the splits and focused on working hard during the core portions. Overall a good workout but will need to recover a lot.
