This was a pretty solid workout! I got roped into working the dumb meet later so I had to do this one solo after my class. There was a shat ton of people out on the track as I left for my warmup, so I was ready to at least have people around for the workout, but by the time I got back, literally NOBODY was there! Not a singular soul on the track. I knew I'd have to workout alone, but I wasn't expecting to actually BE alone lol. It reminded me of my first cross workout this year since I had to do the fartlek on the track by myself lol, rip me on that day. Anyway, this didn't really phase me because I feel like I've done so many workouts alone due to me not racing as much but it still would've been fun to have people there. My biggest concern was not being able to pace very well because Natalie is a pace queen and I am #not. I paced the first rep PERFECTLY and was so stoked!!! The 400's were a second or two off, but I was still pretty happy with them. I felt like I had to work a lot harder to hit the paces than last week, but it got easier as it went on and my second 1200 and 4 400's at CV all ended up being fast. Then I did 3 150's because I'm an idiot. My favorite part of the workout was jumping in the puddles and rompin' around in the rain during the rests. And also talking to myself the whole time LOL. Rainy workouts can be super fun as long as you make them fun! Overall, solid workout and a good mental builder too!
