This was a pretty decent workout! I was excited to move up a pack and workout with Trinity (and Moriah, who I know killed her XT!). We got off a little on the paces, granted it was hot and the reps switched between uphill and downhill so it was sort of hard to find a rhythm. The faster paces were more challenging but mid distance stuff isn't really my forte so I was still pretty happy with how I handled it. I actually enjoyed doing the uphill reps, I'm a hoe for a good challenge. Plus I felt a lot stronger on them today, which gave me some good confidence because I have been struggling with hills a bit more than I would have liked this year. I just pretended like it was Chud hill once I got towards the end and envisioned myself powering up it during the race. Overall it wasn't perfect but Trinity and I decided that that was okay and the effort was definitely there so we are proud of it! :)
