Notes

Okay y'all are never gonna believe this

So I woke up and got myself out the door by 8:40 today to go do the Big Dawg. I got to the track and started my warm up around the track. There was a fair amount of people there, not a whole lot though. After about a lap and a half, a guy walking on the track stops me and says "hey you know that's bad for you right?" and I was like "uhhhh what's bad?" and he said "running that way on the track" and I was like "oh yah haha I know my form is kinda bad" because that's what i thought he was talking about but then he was like "no, you can't run the opposite way on the track". So then I realized he was talking about the direction I was running (sometimes I do the warm up/cool down clockwise instead of counterclockwise because that's what I did in highschool and my former coach told me it won't make your knees/hips sore from running the same way all the time). Anyway I kinda just laughed because I thought he was joking, but then he was all like "no i'm serious, it's bad for your health" and I was like "oh uh why?" and he was like "It's really bad for your heart and you wont be able to breathe hardly" and so I kinda tried to explain why I was doing it, and he was like "well you shouldn't be" and I still thought maybe he was just messing around but I wasnt sure so i was like "oh haha well I don't run this way all the time, it's usually just for warm up or cool down or when I'm feeling sore" and he was like "well I saw you here the other day and you were doing the same thing" which was kinda creepy and weird and I didn't even remember seeing him, so then I kinda just was like " oh sorry" because I didnt know what else to say and I kept doing my warm up lol. I thought about it more and was thinking maybe he was just mad that I was in his way, but I was all the way in lane 5, and he was walking in lane 1 so I gave him lots of room (also who walks in lane 1?!!). I'm kind of gullible sometimes, but like this guy was deadass serious about his opinion, he was actually convinced that running clockwise on a track is bad for you. Anyway, if anyone has any evidence/thoughts that confirms/denies his belief, let me know cause I've been wondering ever since.
