River ROYOad. Apparently river road is closed, and apparently, I am the only one who did not know that. Exhibit Z of me being the last to know everything haha. Anyway, the dumb part is, all the signs say road work ahead, not road CLOSED ahead! So there I am, just taking a nice little jaunt by the river, and boom! There's a big ol construction site! There is a construction worker there and I say "oh hi so can I still get through?" and he says "Does it LOOK like you can?" And I wanted to say yes, because I definitely could run on the side, but I understood that it was a rhetorical question and he was just being a buttface so I turned around and just ended up being wayyyyy over my minutes lol. I hate men. But I didn't let it ruin my day! It was still a good run and still a good day. He was probably just having a not good one but I hope his day is better tomorrow.
