Notes
I call this workout the Staircase of Suffering: (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,1) (30 seconds rest in-between reps).
Took a bit to get the heart rate up, but once I did it stayed there. This was definitely the most difficult workout I've ever done, but today I did a really great job of embracing that and relishing in the pain. Workouts on the bike only hurt if YOU make them hurt, and today I really made it hurt (as evidenced by the heavy breathing and little words/only words were the long, unending string of curse words). The back to back 9 minutes were really tough, but part of me sort of liked it because I like that pain from the crazy, effort giving workouts. The thought of doing it again makes me want to yack but I don't know if I've ever felt more accomplished after a workout, even a running one.
Really impressed with myself and proud of myself. Heart rate was up, I kept grinding throughout the whole thing, and did it all by myself. If you are reading this and you've ever thought I was weak, I hope this made you shit your pants and realize how incredibly wrong you are.
