Another good reminder of how far I have to go this morning. Wasn't really sure what to expect, thought maybe 5:15-5:20 would be realistic. I got out around 5:10 pace on the first one and just slowly faded as the rep went on, it didn't feel good at all. Lowered my expectations for the subsequent reps and even though I was trying to run smarter and slower they didn't feel any easier at all. The 5:23 last rep was a good finish. I have decent 'slow endurance' and pretty good top end speed right now, but anything quicker and sustained is rough. Need to stay patient
