Pretty solid speed workout today! With Roosevelt's track still snow covered I went to Waterworks to do this off GPS.
There was a gnarly wind out of the west about 15- 20 mph which made the beginning of the workout quite difficult running straight into it. The 200's felt very fast but they were over quick, not nearly as painful as doing 400s at mile pace. Idk what happened on that 35, it didn't feel that slow so idk could have been GPS error. It didn't get any easier once I had the wind at my back but the splits came down quite a bit and I felt a lot stronger and had some fun running a little quicker with the wind at the end.
Ran in the Streak LT 3 today too to start getting used to running in more minimal shoes again vs the high stack super shoes and they felt good. We'll see if my calves agree tomorrow
