Workout on the course with the 6:30am crew

3 mile tempo plus 5x600m at goal race pace

3 mile tempo: 5:32, 5:22, 5:24

5x600m: 1:55, 1:51, 1:51, 1:49, 1:46

Not bad this morning. I was anticipating I'd still be feeling Sunday's run in my legs which I did, but it actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I took the tempo out conservative because of the uncertainty of how I'd feel, but it felt fine so I picked it up significantly on the second mile and tried to maintain on the third. The 600s felt way better than I was expecting. Goal race pace felt pretty good so ended up going faster on the last couple which was a great way to end a really good workout.
