12x400m at "mile pace" w/ 400m recovery jog
Lol my speed is pathetic right now. I figured I could average sub 70 seconds for this, but I was more like 72 average. Slower than my 5k pace LOL. My legs didn't really burn or anything, they just felt like they couldn't turn over any faster. Was planning to run this in flats, but I forgot to grab them so did it in trainers so I guess that might have added like a second per rep? Idk. It was a pretty good effort regardless, just need to focus on getting into good 8k and longer shape, this kind of workout isnt the bread and butter for marathons
