Another great morning for a workout, about 60 degrees and a little wind made it feel a little chilly even on my warm up! My goal going into this was to keep all the MP miles under 5:20, and all the tempo miles under 5:10.

Got out really well the first couple miles, it felt like I was running fast but it was comfortable. Quite a few times during the MP portion I found myself going a little too quick and would make sure to dial it back. Finishing the 8 @ MP was no issue, but once I started the tempo portion things got tough quick. I probably ran a bit too quick the first tempo mile (5:05). Then the second tempo mile was across the bridge at Gray's Lake and into the wind, kinda lost focus and pace there trying to fight the headwind. Refocused well the second half of that mile to get it back down to 5:08 then the last 2 were just a grind trying to get to the finish, I wasn't red lining the last couple miles but I was pretty close.

Happy to knock out another solid one. Ever since getting back from the FLA trip running under 5:20 pace has started to feel more and more comfortable. Just need to continue getting comfortable with running for a long time at an uncomfortable pace
