Put a 15:00 5k into the McMillan calculator and it said 1k cruise intervals for that fitness should be 3:06- 3:12. I kind of was expecting it to say faster... but I'm glad it didn't this one ended up being a grind. Solo AM workout at Roosevelt's track, about 25 degrees so a bit chilly too

The first couple of these felt hard but fine, somewhere around rep 3 or 4 I felt like I was working way too hard and told myself just to get through 8 reps then I'd be done. It didn't really get any harder from there though and once I got to 7 and 8 I knew I was going to be able to finish out the 10. I was putzing big time on the 200 jogs to try to recover. Really didn't feel good at all this morning but knocked it out and finished at the right paces

Ran in the Streak 6, and I could definitely feel that in my legs the second half of the workout. I think this would have felt and gone a lot better if I'd worn vaporflies but I think it will benefit me more in the long run to stay away from those for a while, especially when I'm on the track
