5 mile progression, starting tempo + 60 and finishing at tempo
6:00, 5:41, 5:29, 5:15, 4:59
Goal was to start about 6:05 and work it down about 15 seconds per mile and finish at about 5:05. Got out a little quick the 1st mile but it felt like a jog, and basically was, so that was fine. Was consistently a little quick each mile from there. I really didn't feel that great, felt very flat and low energy. Didn't have to work too hard until the last mile, which was into a headwind so that made the effort harder than it needed to be but I also ran too fast so that made it harder too. Got it done and happy with the splits tho so I'll take it
