8x1200m w/ 800m rec jog on the xc course
Splits: 3:55, 3:54, 3:51, 3:47, 3:48, 3:44, 3:37, 3:37
Early on in this workout I was ready to accept that it was gonna be a shit day but after changing into spikes it actually turned around and became pretty solid. The first two I couldn't believe how slow I was running... the effort was there but for some reason I just was stuck around 3:55. The 3rd and 4th I made a really hard effort to try to bring the pace down which was good. Then we changed into spikes before the 5th. The 5th I just tried to keep the same pace with feeling easier in the spikes, the 6th I pushed pretty hard again. Then number 7 and 8 Andreas was running with me so it felt a lot easier to bring the pace way down. Really tough but good workout
