Considered scratching this workout after how my hamstring felt yesterday. Talked to coach ives though and he suggested giving it a try and starting conservative. Did some good rolling and stretching Friday night and woke up Saturday and the hamstring felt fine. Warmed up a few miles down to Waterworks Park and did some strides then got rolling,

I checked McMillan and it said 15:00 5k should be 4:59- 5:09 cruise mile pace. So I wanted to start a little slower than that range and ease into it. Did a good job of that and the first 4 miles felt great working it down each mile. The 5th mile was mostly into the wind and that slowed it down a bit, but the effort was there. And was able to finished really strong and feeling under control the last two miles. Really happy with this after how my hamstring felt yesterday and happy with how the paces felt given that it was a little warm and windy
