Good effort this morning at Gray's lake, had Josh for the WU and CD but the was solo on the workout. Pretty disgusting out this morning, the most humid its been in a while... 70ish degrees and 90+% humidity. #poormansaltitude I guess.

Didn't feel great this morning, and with the insane humidity I just tried to make sure the effort was there and didn't worry about pace too much. Didn't want to dig too deep either, with a big race this weekend. Just tried to be around 5:25 for the 2 mile repeats, which I was able to do without too much issue. I would have liked to have been faster for the 3:00 fartleks, but about 5:15-5:20 is just kinda what I settled into, which was fine. Then just tried to be around 4:55 for the 1:00 efforts which was pretty easy since they were only a minute long. Nothing special about this workout, but got the work in and the effort was there.

Unrelated to the workout, Josh and I rolled into Grays at about 5:40 while it was still dark. There were some people on bikes wearing creepy masks and we could overhear a super racist conversation filled with N-bombs. When they rode off they were swerving all over the trail and whooping and hollering all sorts of noises. Josh and I both agreed they looked and sounded like they were ready to partake in The Purge. Pretty weird and creepy especially when its still dark out
