11 miles in 1:03:50, ~5:48 pace
Planned 15 at MP-ish. Just wanted to have a good run and feel good running fast for an extended period of time again. I think I did that. Went to Gray's Lake because that's a loop I am comfortable on and have run good workouts before. Had Anthony and Josh along for the ride.
First mile was over 6 and felt like a walk, from there Anthony and I started working it down and by mile 5 we were in the 5:40s and I was feeling easy. Anthony dropped off after 6 and I was still feeling really easy. Just tried to lock into 5:45s. Got through 9 miles and things started feeling hard.
I had a really good 11 miles and didn't want to ruin it by possibly blowing up the last 4 miles. I decided to just call it good at 11, and I was happy with that. After being sick and Wednesday's debacle this was a really good step forward. Got a couple more weeks to get fully right before taking a shot at a fast time at P2P
