Beautiful day for a workout. Would have liked to get on the track for this, but I checked out Roosevelt's track over the weekend and it was still snow covered so just went to Waterworks and went off GPS.

Wasn't really sure what to expect or how sub 70 400s would feel, so just got out hard the first rep and didn't check my watch and it ended up about 67. It felt pretty dang hard but 400s and mile pace should feel hard so figured 67 would be about right. The middle reps were tough. After 6th I was feeling pretty gassed but was able to get myself up for the last few reps. Finished really well with a 65 and felt really strong.

If I'm in about 4:30 mile shape right now that's not too bad, I'll take that. A long ways to go to get into solid shape, but thankfully we have a few months to get there
