It was storming this morning and once the rain ended it was suuuuper warm and muggy, which made this harder than it should have been I think. Felt pretty garbage on the WU, and the whole time I was debating what shoes to wear for the workout, ended up going with the VF and it felt good to run in them again. The first 4 reps were pretty easy but required a bit more effort than I'd have liked. It was overcast most of the workout, and then right before the 5th rep the sun came out which made things feel a lot warmer and of course I was running straight into the sun without my sunglasses for those two which was kinda shitty. The last two felt really fast and they were honestly pretty hard but I'm happy with how I was able to finish the workout. Hopefully being able to finish in 4:51 is a sign that I'll be able to string together 3 straight sub-5's for the 5k next Saturday
