Solo track workout at Roosevelt this morning. Going into this I really wasn't sure what to expect for splits since I haven't been on the track or done any mile pace stuff for a while. First rep felt pretty good but I thought 32's were too fast for mile pace, so I tried to back it off a bit but kinda failed. Just settled into 32's with the occasional 33 and they felt fast but manageable. The workout started feeling a good bit tougher once I got past 10 reps but with 200's being so short I was able to knock them out without slowing down. I know I have a long ways to go to run quick times over shorter distances next spring, but a good first step. Also I switched directions on the track every 5 reps to even the turns out
