1st 3.33 @ 7:22 avg (7:51, 7:24, 6:59, 6:49 pace)

2nd 3.33 @ 6:16 avg (6:34, 6:21, 6:09, 6:01 pace)

3rd 3.33 @ 5:18 avg (5:36, 5:23, 5:05, 4:54 pace)

Knocked this one out and the splits were just fine, but I felt super junky for most of the 2nd half. Woke up a few hours before and did the Maurten Bicarb to get another practice with it. Got out the 1st 3rd and it was super chill as usual, took a Maurten 160 gel right around 3 miles. Picked up the pace into the 2nd 3rd and while it didn't feel that hard, it just didn't feel as easy as I'd have liked. Was able to keep progressing it without much trouble though. Took a Maurten 100 caffeine gel at about 6.5 miles. The 1st mile of the last 3rd felt pretty decent, but then for the last 2.33 miles I was grinding hard. Particularly on the 5:23 mile, biomechanically I felt smooth and my stride felt good but the effort was just higher than I'd have liked. That continued into the last 1.33 as I was pretty close to running all out. Glad I was able to get it done, but just never felt great throughout. The Bicarb and gels settled okay, was a little iffy stomach wise but never bad enough to affect the workout thankfully. Had a more busy than usual week at work this past week, so maybe that had some effect on how I felt today
