Originally was gonna go to Valley's track for this, but woke up and saw it was already in the upper 70s and super humid so opted for Water Works instead since there is at least some shade there. Felt pretty garbage on the WU and was a lil concerned about my toe, I've been doing epsom salt soaks on in (per @Will's suggestion) and it seems to be improving, but it was kinda sore when I was walking around the apartment this morning. Thankfully running with shoes doesn't bother it at all.

Given the conditions I knew this would be tough, so going in just wanted to try to run between 3:40 and 3:45 for the 1200s. I was feeling pretty good the first 3, but the humidity was definitely getting to me a bit. Probably pushed it a bit too hard for the 3:42 on the 4th and contemplated stopping there, but told myself to get to 5 then reevaluate. The 5th one sucked and was my slowest. Decided I'd do the 6th rep but take whatever pace my body gave me. I was hovering at about 5:05 pace through the half mile then somehow was able to crank it up and finish strong to get back under 5:00 pace for the rep. My legs felt completely cooked after the 3rd rep, so I'm really happy with how I was able to finish out this workout
