This was great! Decompressing from another really bad day at work. We have 4 attorneys on a case that's set for trial about a week after NYC. The new boss Mark (who is so new he's still on probation) made a big deal about me planning on running NYC. I said something like, "I'm not saying it's out of your hands, but it's already been approved and is water under the bridge. I'll be at the trial." I know some people don't like it when you set boundaries but we have to sometimes!
