Still taped and using the inserts. This week's training plan is recycled from 2/11/13, leading up to my 15k P.R. During the last interval, could feel a little burn in one of my right quads, like it just started firing after about 7 weeks off (not counting the cycling). Very pleased with this run as it accomplished the goal of working the small end of the funnel in my training plan. I've been working the big end and was afraid if I lost the speed, I would never get it back. 2 x (400m + 300m + 200m), starting at 5k pace & working down, with 400m recovery jogs. This was self-paced and the only time I looked at my watch was at the end of the 1st one, to ensure I was following my notes in this week's plan where I said, "First interval no faster than 2:00!" I got that right and now looking at my times, feel like the others were too!
