OUTSTANDING run today! WOW! I totally did NOT plan on doing a race pace long run today, but ended up I did. First half (7 miles) averaged just over a 10 minute mile pace and felt amazing. Totally in control of my heart rate and breathing. After mile 8, however I realized that my muscles were crazy sore and tired. First training run this year where I've had to combat the muscle fatigue mid run. Great for marathon training. Felt like I slowed down considerably on the way back but ended up at an 11 minute mile pace for the whole 14. Oh Yeah! I'll take it~!!!!
