Close to 90 degrees with 20 mph winds, wasn't feeling a death march outside so went to the Vaughan and figured I'd do some sort of workout. 2 mile warmup, 4 mile Fartlek, 2 mile cooldown. Decided to do what I did for my first workout back post-injury with a fartlek of sprinting straights, jogging curves. Considering the type of workout that it was, I was pretty happy with the splits I hit especially since I felt extremely in control. Did 3 last time but this time decided to do 4 and could have probably done 1 more at that level of effort. Kinda wished I had since I stopped and wasn't struggling too hard but I think it was smart to call it when I did, especially since this was a lot of right turns and I was tight as a mother yesterday on my right side lol. Kinda crazy how much nicer things are when you can actually breath, doing this outside would have been a disaster. Happy to get the quality in today before work at Dick Pond!
