Morton Arb run with the DP crew and my dad. Never ran this course before but it has a ton of rolling hills so it made for a very fun and enjoyable course, just not fast. Had some random dude cover me move for move up Frost hill and I was gearing up for a good battle but right after we hit the half mile point I put like 10 seconds on him because he just gave up. I appreciated that as it allowed me to settle down a bit and recover from the uphill haha. Ran the rest of the run solo and did my best to hold my effort which despite the hills I did. A bit humid and had some slippery ground for parts of it but overall a very nicely run race and it was a lot of fun. Definitely worth doing especially with the free comp. Best part of the day was running with my dad the last half mile and seeing him set a 5k PR on this hilly course after yesterday's 14 mile long run!! You are fit dad, proud of you for your hard work!!
