Weather was pretty nice today, was in the mood for something new so decided to hit up the golf course right by our place in 4 Lakes. Was actually able to get on this time which was great! The very first bridge was under construction so I ended up making alterations and made my own loop up on the spot and it ended up being basically a perfect 2k distance. Great to remember for future runs. Did this loop 4 times and got a good variation of grass, concrete, gravel, and wood. Afterwards left the club and did a base loop to finish off the run. Hip and groin took a good step in the right direction today, definitely felt like I was able to use most of my normal stride! The grass really wasn't springy so I definitely ran slower on this part as opposed to the roads, but timed a mile section on the base loop and ran 6:27 so this was a pretty good building run. Gotta keep rolling and stretching!
