Notes

Snuck in a run before practice today, weather actually around this time wasn't too bad but I have run out of clothes to wear outdoors and I wanted to get as much in as I could before practice since I got a bit of a late start so I jumped on the treadmill. Ran 1 minute at 6 minute pace every 5 minutes for the first half hour, then extended that to 2 minutes for the next 30 minutes and then eventually to 3 minutes for the last 22 minutes or so. Legs felt pretty good and their was some great music the first half or so but after that it went back to being silent. Had a blood blister come up around this time too but every time I did a pickup my foot felt a lot better. Not a crazy run but it had some quality miles in there and I kept it chill when it needed to be chill. Aside from one of the surges being at 5:40 pace, everything was the same! Easy jog pace was 6:58 and on sections were 6:00. Solid longer run for the day, feels good to get some base miles in! Looking to hit between 60-65 this week and slowly progress up to 70 and then 80's in January!
