Easy run in-between recruiting and working at Dick Pond. Was able to stay very hydrated today so even though it was getting hotter out I never had an issue. Legs were sore at the beginning so I just forced myself into recovery mode but was still surprised to see a sub 7 first mile, I'll never understand how some days I try for it and can't get it and other days I purposely go slow and then I break it lol. Anyway, decided to hit up the gravel path off of Indian Trail for a bit before getting on the Gilman and then taking the usual route back home. Hoping legs feel a bit better tomorrow but overall this was a nice run despite being sore! Doing nothing but recovery until Sunday, still not sure what I'm going to do for the run but either way it's going to be a nice mileage day for sure!
