Woke up and was absolutely exhausted from yesterday. We had practice today but I was allowed to come a tad later since I got back late last night. Left practice, went to Kaytlin's, ate breakfast, went to the movies and watched Kong before driving back home and getting myself out the door. My stomach was feeling it, legs were toasted from the start but I just told myself to take things a mile at a time and do my best to just enjoy the run no matter the pace. Foot was sore on and off throughout the run, which was frustrating but I know I've been on my feet all day since Friday so recovery has not been optimal. However, stopped noticing it around mile 10 so that was awesome! Again, aerobically this was fine but my legs just felt like trash from the past few days. Was a bit windy out but temperature wise it was absolutely perfect outside, you really couldn't ask for better weather. Haven't ran out to Waubonsee College in awhile too so it was fun to run through Bliss Woods and check out other parts of the Gilman that I usually don't run on. Going to keep watching over my foot but won't be logging the nerve as an injury anymore. Someday it will go away, but I'm over it at this point so hopefully it happens sooner than later haha it's at least tolerable now. On to next week!
