Busy but fun day today and was able to get a run in once I got back from Comcast. It was pretty hot out but wanted to at least get in 6-8 so I fortunately I got just that. This was one of those runs where I felt off from the start and had to just fight myself to try and find a cadence. Decided to hit up Indian Trail and took it till I hit Golden Oaks and decided I'd run by to see the house I used to live in when I was like 5. Right as I passed it I ran into a Mariachi band that had like 12-15 guys all playing music and dressed in the stereotypical way. It definitely was one of the most interesting things I've seen on a run hahah
Also, mapped out the route and it said the distance was 7.6...that's a pretty big difference especially with effort and pace. I'll sleep on it about whether or not I should change it.
Edit: Changed the distance, 20 seconds per mile is just too big of a difference for me to ignore. Probably going to need to update my watch again, I think I'm off by an update because even Tuesday's run was way off
